I met Lynn almost 20 years while I was a sales rep calling on Walmart. I always enjoyed our talks while I was at the store. He was truly one of the good ones, and I am deeply saddened by his passing. Lynn’s entire family will be in my prayers

Lynn was such a wonderful person who lived life to the fullest everyday. I worked in the meat department for Lynn for a couple of years and then I went to being a fresh manager with Lynn. Lynn was a great mentor and never minded helping anyone out. I left Walmart a year ago but every time i went in he always said Hey Trouble. I will definetly miss seeing him in Walmart. Keeping your family in my thoughts and prayers.

Lynn I am proud to say is my friend, someone whom I spent much time with during high school and after graduation. Regardless of our activity, be it a pickup game of basketball, arcade game, or match of wits, he was very competitive and always gave as good as he got. I remember basketball match ups at Hickory Grove Church, watching movies or games, or just hanging out talking and trying to make sense of what we thought to be such complicated lives. I can honestly not remember a time when I called or stopped by just to talk that Lynn was not available and ready to listen. He was always the level headed voice of reason, the one with wisdom and patience well beyond his years. He never seemed rattled but in control, often I think plotting a response or action that he was too kind hearted to administer. Lynn would always take a stand for what he felt was right and just and I usually agreed with him, but with one exception, that being his favorite team “Carolina”. As life often does it takes us away from home on exciting journeys in search of new adventures, leaving good friends and fond memories behind but not forgotten. Those good friends and fond memories often come flooding back bringing smiles to your face and heart as you understand how fortunate you were to have them in your life. I was fortunate to have Lynn as my friend.

I am so sad to hear of Lynn’s passing ! I believe he was assigned to sit next to me in 4th grade and he helped me so much as I could not read the caulk printed math problems on the board ! I soon had an eye exam and had to get glasses ! He was such an intelligent young student even then! Amazing how many years have zipped by ! He will remain forever in my heart as my best buddy/ big brother from way back ! RIP in peace in your mansion in the sky !
