Judy Faye Stevens Johnson

Judy Faye Stevens Johnson, 78, of Tom Stevens Road, Siler City died Wednesday, July 18, 2018.

Mrs. Johnson was born in Chatham County on November 2,1939 the daughter of Thomas W. and Myrtle (Thrift) Stevens. Judy was a member of Plainfield Friends Meeting and an in-home caregiver. She enjoyed working with her flowers and time spent with her family, especially grandkids. Judy was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jack Stevens; grandson, Preston Tyler Capps.

She is survived by daughters: Tammie Johnson Marley (Mike) and Lou Ann Johnson Capps (Buddy); sons: Kip Johnson and Chris Johnson (Wendy); sister: Muriel Blaylock; brother: Larry Stevens; grandchildren, Noah Johnson (Rachel), Marshall Capps (Kim) and Brandon Marley (Ashley); great-grandchildren, Laila, Bella, EJ, Cory, Courtney, Cassidy.

The family will receive friends Friday, July 20, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City, NC. The funeral will be Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Plainfield Friends Meeting, 1956 Plainfield Church Road, Siler City with Wayne Lamb and Kevin Rollins officiating. Burial will follow in the meeting cemetery.
