Yvonne Moffitt Ore

Yvonne Moffitt Ore, 64, of Burlington died Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at Hospice & Palliative Care Center Of Alamance-Caswell, Burlington. Ms. Ore was born in Chatham County on November 30, 1951 the daughter of Charlie R. and Nellie (Gee) Moffitt. She was a member of Lambs Chapel in Burlington. Yvonne was a final inspector for a screen print company. She was an excellent seamstress, enjoyed crocheting, painting, reading, singing in the choir, her cats and watching hummingbirds. She is survived by two daughters: Heather Willoughby and husband, Mark, Amanda Rose and husband, Robert Allen all of Burlington; two sons: Jonathan Yokeley and wife, Melanie, Michael Yokeley and wife, Devin all of Greensboro; two sisters: Jennifer Moffitt and husband, David Riggs of Pleasant Garden, Sylvia Ann Moffitt of Greensboro, NC; two brothers: Charlie Moffitt II and wife, Pamela Ann of Stafford, VA, Richard Moffitt of Greensboro, NC and nineteen grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday, March 25, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City, NC.
