Mrs. Lemons was a devoted wife and mother. As a dairy farmer's wife, her work was never done, but her family was her first priority. She was a dedicated homemaker who was always serving her family. She also spent many years lovingly taking care of children in her home. She was a wonderful cook, and her grandchildren enjoyed rushing to the kitchen for a fresh biscuit. She also enjoyed watching sports, especially Carolina basketball, gardening, and bird watching. She took great pride in her beautiful flowers. Wilma had an unwavering faith in God. Her trust in Jesus gave her great joy and peace. She was a member of Mount Vernon United Methodist Church, where she enjoyed attending the Adult Sunday School Class and UMW. Her passing has left a void that will never be filled, but she leaves her family with a legacy of love and memories that will last forever.
