Wilma Lee DeBoard Bowman, age 85, of Siler City died Monday, June 15, 2020 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro.
Mrs. Bowman was born October 22, 1934 in Smyth County, VA the daughter of Walter Glenn and Mary Evelyn Parks DeBoard.
She was retired from Selig Manufacture. Wilma enjoyed shopping, yard sales, watching western movies, and flower gardening. She was a good cook and loved her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mrs. Bowman was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Otis Clinton Bowman; and sisters: Jessie McGlocklin and Janet Fagg.
She is survived by daughters: Carol B. Bray and husband Billy Joe of Siler City; Bonnie B. Trogdon and husband John of Ramseur; and Rose B. Staley and husband Curtis, of Siler City; son: Curtis Bowman and wife Cherie of Siler City; brothers: Sterling DeBoard and wife Betty of VA and Joe DeBoard and wife Shirley of Siler City; 11 grandchildren 20 great grandchildren.
Friends and Family may visit anytime at the home of the son, Curtis Bowman, 348 Gilliland Rd, Siler City.
A graveside service will be Friday, June 19, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Moon's Chapel Baptist Cemetery, 175 Moon's Chapel Road, Siler City with Dr. Patrick Fuller and Rev. Frank Taylor officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Randolph Hospice House or to the Cancer Society.
