William "Bill" Wilborn

William "Bill" Wilborn, 93, of Siler City, passed away on Monday, April 25, 2022 at his home.

Mr. Wilborn was born in Person County, the son of Annie Holcumb Wilborn.

Bill was a US Navy Veteran, who proudly served his country. He spent his working years as a weaver for Burlington Industries in Ramseur, NC. Bill was a member of Brookdale Baptist Church, where he attended the Sr. Adult #3 Sunday School Class. He was an avid old coin collector, and donated some of his coins to the Siler City Senior Center.  In addition to his parents, Bill is preceded in death by his wives: Eunice Watson Wilborn and Agnes Elizabeth "Libby" Smith Hash Wilborn; sons, William B. Wilborn Jr., Keith Wilborn, and Donald Wayne Wilborn; daughter, Katherine Wilborn; step son, Curtis Hash; son in laws, Chris Meeks, Sr. and Joe Elmore.

He is survived by his son, Michael Phillip Wilborn and wife Peggy of Hartford, TN; step daughters, Linda Meeks and Joyce Elmore, both of Siler City; step grandchildren, Chris Meeks, Sherri Crissman, Tommy Meeks, Anthony Elmore, Nancy H. Hunt, and Lisa Hash Rattz; and 13 step great grandchildren.
