Wilbert Wrenn Hinshaw, Jr. ,73, of Tom Stevens Road, Siler City died Monday, October 10, 2016 at his residence.
Mr. Hinshaw was born in Chatham County on December 17, 1942 the son of Wilbert W. and Edna (Siler) Hinshaw. He was a graduate of Silk Hope High School, attended Plainfield Friends Meeting and had been employed with Stout Chair as an upholsterer. Wrenn enjoyed wood working, and sports, including coaching.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Robert and Kenneth Hinshaw; sister, Hazel Way.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years: Kaye (Petty) Hinshaw; two daughters: Tracey H. Shaw and husband, Marty of Goldston, Allison Hinshaw of the home; grandsons, Heath and Matt Shaw; step-grandchildren, Heather McCasslin and Chris Shaw; step-great-grandchildren, Austin Shaw and John McCasslin.
The funeral will be Thursday, October 13, 2016 at 3:00 PM at Plainfield Friends Meeting, 1956 Plainfield Church Road, Siler City with Pastor, Kevin Rollins officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday, October 13, 2016 following the graveside committal service at Plainfield Friends Meeting Fellowship Hall.
