Wanda Faye Williams

Wanda Faye Williams, 81, of Siler City, NC, passed away Monday, November 13^th, 2023, surrounded by family and friends.

She was born February 5^th, 1942, in Chatham County, to Oran Pickett and Martha Estridge Pickett. Faye was a member of First Wesleyan Church where she was a greeter and a faithful prayer warrior for all. She loved her family deeply and loved being around them. She also enjoyed arm wrestling, watching football and basketball games at Jordan Matthews High School, and she had a love of bowling from a young age.

Faye is survived by her two daughters, Annette Bailey and her husband David of Siler City and Sherri Carter and her husband Neil of Staley. She is also survived by one granddaughter, Brynn Humphrey (Dakota) of Siler City and her great granddaughter, Oaklyn Humphrey. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Faye is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Burney Williams.

A visitation will be held Friday, November 17^th, 2023, from 1 to 2 Pm at First Wesleyan Church. A service will follow at First Wesleyan Church and will be officiated by Reverend Don Southern. Burial will follow service at Chatham Memorial Park in Siler City.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like memorials to be made to First Wesleyan Church.
