Virginia Elizabeth Clark Beal

Virginia Clark Beal, 81, of Goldston died Sunday, June 7, 2015 at UNC Hospitals. Mrs. Beal was born in Chatham County on April 23, 1934 the daughter of Jordan Tysor and Lessie Ann (Dowdy) Clark. Virginia was a member of Antioch Christian Church and retired from Kayser Roth Hosiery Mill. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel W. Beal; her parents; sisters, Mary Ann Clark, Fannie Lee Oldham, Lela Evans and Janie Clark Moore; brothers, Jessie, Clarence, Everette and Hugh Clark. She is survived by three daughters: Sylvia Beal Bowden and husband, Chuck of Sanford, NC, Becky Beal Tyson of Jacksonville, NC, Janet Beal Davis and husband, Jeff of Siler City, NC;grandchildren, Michelle Kennedy and husband, Rick, Jeremy Bowden, Chris Tyson and wife, Jessica, Matt Tyson and Leslie Tyson, Brittany Davis and three great-grandchildren. The funeral will be Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Antioch Christian Church, 246 Antioch Christian Church Road, Bear Creek with Rev. Mike Harper officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 10, 2015 following the service in the church fellowship hall. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
