Virginia Callicutt Leviner

Virginia Callicutt Leviner, 89, of Chatham County died Thursday, October 23, 2014 at UNC Hospitals, Chapel Hill. Mrs. Leviner was born in Guilford County in 1925 the daughter of Erastus S. and Betty (Marsh) Callicutt. Virginia was a member of the Siler City Presbyterian Church, had worked for Bobby Wood CPA as an accountant and had most recently taught at Central Carolina Community College. She was preceded in death by her husband, Perry Leviner; granddaughter, Erin Williams; brothers, Roy, Alfred, Howard and Earl Callicutt; sister, Joyce Luther. She is survived by three daughters: Margaret L. Williams (Bill), Beverly Leviner (Paul Engel), Cynthia Delk (William) and one son: Joel Leviner (Julie); one brother: Wade Callicutt; grandchildren: Alexandra, Pierce, Brian, Chip and Jason; and two great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Sunday, October 26, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City, NC. The funeral will be Monday, October 27, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Siler City Presbyterian Church, 720 W. 3rd St., Siler City with Rev. Richard LeDew and Rev. Sue Flippin officiating.
