Vera Elizabeth Cotner Bray

Vera Cotner Bray, 90, of Siler City died Monday, February 13, 2017 at Coventry House Of Siler City. Mrs. Bray was born in Chatham County on September 6, 1926 the daughter of Tate C. and Alma (McPherson) Cotner. Vera was a member of the First Baptist Church of Siler City and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Max Bray and her parents. She is survived by one daughter: Ann Bray Weaver of Siler City; one son: Joseph Max Bray and wife, Dina of Carrboro; one brother: James R. Cotner and wife, Barbara of Marietta, GA; grandchildren, Suzanne Brown of Siler City, and Christine Bray Graves and husband, Mark of Durham; great-grandchildren, Caleb Brown and Griffin Graves. Vera loved her husband, her children, her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren, but most of all she loved her Lord. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
