Thomas Harold "Tommy" Terry, Jr., 61, of 7316 Siler City-Snow Camp Road, Siler City died Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at UNC Hospitals, Chapel Hill. Mr. Terry was born in Chatham County on May 16, 1951 the son of Harold and Edith (Braxton) Terry. He was a member of Plainfield Friends Meeting and the owner-operator of Kustom Auto Recyclers in Liberty. Tommy was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 27 years: Kimberly Sutton Terry of the home; four sons: Chris Terry (Chastity) of Liberty, NC, Kevin Terry of Siler City, NC, Josh Combs (Tammy) of Burlington, NC, Adam Terry (Erica) of Siler City, NC; one sister: Carolyn Terry Skowron (John) of Raleigh, NC; grandchildren, Daylin Locklear, Chanceler Terry, Addison Combs, Alexis Terry, Trey, Seth, Breanna, and Sierra Dickerson; two nieces and two nephews. The family will receive friends Thursday, August 9, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City, NC. The funeral will be Friday, August 10, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Plainfield Friends Meeting, 1956 Plainfield Church Road, Siler City with Pastor Larry McEntire officiating. Burial will follow in the Meeting cemetery.
