Teresa Gilda Ruisi Lask

Teresa Gilda Ruisi Lask, 92, of Kidd's Ridge, Siler City died Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at Siler City Center. Mrs. Lask was born June 30, 1924 in Brooklyn, NY the daughter of Joseph and Margaret (Moderno) Ruisi. She was retired from Grant Hardware as an advertising manager. Teresa was a member of St. Julia Catholic Parish and a Eucharistic minister in constant prayer for her family and friends. She found great pleasure in traveling the world. Teresa was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen A. Lask. She is survived by two daughters: Debra M. Schinbeckler and husband, Brad of Longboat Key, FL and Lisann M. Lash and husband, Tom of New London, NC; three sons: Dr. Andrew J. Lask and wife, Gail of West Harrison, NY, Stephen G. Lask and wife, Jeanne of Durham, NC and Gregory M. Lask and wife, Debra of Siler City, NC; seventeen grandchildren, and twenty-two great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday, August 5, 2016 from 2:00 -4:00 PM and from 6:00 – 9:00 PM at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City. A funeral Mass will be held Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 10:30 AM at St. Julia Catholic Parish, 210 Harold Hart Road, Siler City with Father Joseph Madden officiating. Burial will follow in Chatham Memorial Park, Siler City. Memorials may be made to West Chatham Relay For Life, Ann McDaniel, PO Box 526, Siler City, NC 27344.
