Tammy Jo Moore Booth, 46, of 400 Bristol Lane, Randleman died Thursday, December 20, 2012 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, Greensboro.
Mrs. Booth was born in Chatham County on May 16, 1966 the daughter of James I. and Emma Katherine (Burke) Booth. She was a member of Brookdale Baptist Church, a 1984 of Jordan Matthews High School and a 1986 graduate of CCCC in Sanford. Tammy had worked in tax programming for Electro File. She enjoyed spending time at the beach and reading. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Shirley Deese.
She is survived by her husband of 24 years: Greg K Booth; two daughters: Caityn Booth and Sydney Booth of the home; two sisters, Linda M. Forster of Siler City, NC, Sandra M. Linton of Goldsboro, NC and three brothers: James L. Moore of Homestead, FL, Sammy G. Moore of Coats, NC, Barry G. Moore of Siler City, NC.
The family will receive friends Saturday, December 22, 2012 from 6 to 8 PM at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City, NC and other times at the home of Barry Moore, 2566 Hamp Stone Road, Siler City, NC. A funeral service will be held Sunday, December 23, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Community Baptist Church, 2575 Hamp Stone Road, Siler City with Dr. Mark Agan officiating.
