Steven Wrenn Brooks

Steven "Steve" Wrenn Brooks, age 56, of Siler City died Monday, September 21, 2020. Mr. Brooks was born June 26, 1964 the son of C.L. and Faye Brewer Brooks. Steve had a lifelong love for UNC Basketball. He was a member of the Oakley Baptist Church. He loved spending time surrounded by family and took pride in his career making cabinetry. He is survived by his parents, daughter; Nicole Brooks of Asheville, son: Ethan Brooks and wife Emily of Pittsboro, sisters; Susan Sanders of Siler City, and Wanda Constantino and husband Mike of Siler City, brothers; Greg Brooks of Siler City, and Scott Brooks of Charlotte, grandchildren; Mason, Ashlyn, Halen, Ana and Easton. Steve was dearly loved by friends Justin Sanders, Kristy, Makayla, and Spencer Oldham. Steve will lie in state on Wednesday, September 23, 2020, from 12:00pm-5:00pm at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City, NC. A graveside service will be held Thursday, September 24, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Oakley Baptist Church Cemetery, 2300 Siler City-Glendon Road, with Rev. Spencer Andrews and Rev. Jeff Johnson officiating.
