Shirley Ann Lucas

Shirley Ann Lucas, 74, of Siler City passed away on Friday, June 25, 2021 at her home. Mrs. Lucas was born in Guilford County on May 13, 1947 the daughter of Guy David and Marie Apple Smith. Shirley was a member of West End United Methodist Church. She spent her working years as a Loom Programmer for Collins and Aikman. Shirley is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by son, Joseph Perry of Apex; sister, Anna Smario of Whitsett; nephew, Tim Johnson; great niece and nephew, Cohen and Aniston Johnson; and special friends, Carol Johnson and Joan Williams. The family will receive friends Thursday, July 1, 2021 from 12:00 - 1:30 pm at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City, NC. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Chatham Memorial Park, 13260 Hwy 64 West, Siler City with Rev. Jim Whittaker officiating.
