Selena Shoffner Alston

Selena Shoffner Alston, age 72, of Siler City died Thursday, May 14, 2020. Mrs. Alston was born May 16, 1947 in Liberty, NC the daughter of Percy and Hazeline Harris Shoffner. Selena was employed by Walmart as a Department Manager and loved making flower arrangements. Her greatest passion was helping her family and friends. She attended New Beginnings Ministries Church. She is survived by her father, Percy Shoffner of Liberty; husband of 16 years Thomas Earl Alston; sons: Tracy A. Brower of Raleigh, and Michael Lee Brower of Greensboro, brother: Kenneth Shoffner; grandchildren: Aleeah, Cydney, Juwan, Chelsi, Marissa, Amber, Joshua, Genesis, Jacoya, Miya, Mikel, and Kellen; great grandchildren, Julian, Jeremiah, Jace, Jaxson, Jia, Christian, Malia, Jayce and Erin. A private graveside service will be Saturday May 23, 2020 at Chatham Memorial Park, 13260 Hwy 64 West, Siler City with Phyllis Carter officiating.
