Sara Bruton Wrenn

Sara Bruton Wrenn, 94, of Siler City died Sunday, February 11, 2018 at Chatham Hospital.

Mrs. Wrenn was born in Chatham County on February 10, 1924, the daughter of Neil Ashley and Ellen Johnson Bruton. Sara was a retired teacher from Jordan Matthews High School and was a member of The Alpha Delta Kappa Sorority. Sara was a member of First United Methodist Church of Siler City and the Siler City Garden Club. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son; David Willis Wrenn.

Mrs. Wrenn is survived by her husband of 74 years: C. Willis Wrenn; sons: Neil A. Wrenn and wife, Vivian, Robert C. Wrenn and wife, Jane all of Siler City; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Saturday, February 17, 2018 from 1:00 – 2:00 PM at the Siler City First United Methodist Church, 1101 West Raleigh Street, Siler City. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. Carl Belcher officiating.
