Rose Everwine Fields, 75, of Siler City, passed away Saturday, August 19, 2023.
Rose was born in Gloucester County, New Jersey on April 1, 1948, to Daniel Austin Everwine Sr. and Blanche Neuschafer Everwine. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister-in-law Ruth Ann Everwine; and brother-in-law Robert G. Johnson.
Rose was a retired nurse who loved to travel to help others and share the love of the Lord all around the world. She was an avid reader, and enjoyed putting together puzzles. She loved her family very much especially her daughter.
Rose is survived by her loving husband of 31 ½ years, Rev. William Dee Fields; daughter: Tiffany Theriault, of Madison, WI; 5 sisters: Susan L. Johnson, Marcia J. Murphy (Scott), Terry Lee Johnson (Scott), Kathleen Borgman (Jim), Luanne Everwine Miller (Terrence); 2 brothers: Charles M. Everwine (Jonica) and Daniel A. Everwine (Renee); stepdaughter: Bethany Epley; stepson: Ben Fields; 7 step-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at Southeast Church of the Nazarene in Forest Oaks, 4511 Southeast School Road, Greensboro, NC 27406, from 2:00 - 3:00 PM. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 PM, with Rev. Tom Roswick, Rev. Jim Borgman, and Rev. Bill Vinson officiating. Burial will follow at Rives Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Dementia Society of America, or to a Cancer Research organization of your choice.
The family would like to thank the staff of UNC Hospice of Pittsboro for all their care and support. And a special Thank You to Brooke, Cynthia, Pat, Nina, Vera, Tonya, Kathleen, Brittany, Dirk and Gwen.
