Ronnie Douglas Lowe

Ronnie Douglas Lowe, 61, of NC Hwy 902, Bear Creek died Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at his residence. Mr. Lowe was born in Chatham County on August 7, 1953 the son of William Bobby and Geneva (Phillips) Lowe. Ronnie was member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church and was employed by Static Control of Sanford. He was a NASCAR fan, especially Dale Earnhart. He enjoyed collecting guns and knives and was known as a jokester with the ability to see the lighter side of most situations. Ronnie was preceded in death by his mother, Geneva Phillips Lowe and a brother, David Michael Lowe. He is survived by daughters: Michelle Lowe Dixon and husband, Josh of Bear Creek, NC, Jason Douglas Lowe of Bear Creek, Melissa Cheryl Lowe of Raleigh, NC; father, Bob Lowe; sister: Cheryl L. Poe and husband, Michael; brother: Darryl Lowe all of Bear Creek, NC and granddaughter, Haley Corley. The family will receive friends Friday, February 6, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City, NC. The funeral will be Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Hickory Grove Baptist Church, 17721 NC Hwy 902, Bear Creek with Rev. Darrell Garner officiating.
