Ronald Lynn Phillips, 55, of Siler City died Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at Chatham Hospital.
Mr. Phillips was born in Chatham County on August 18, 1960 the son of Lynville and Nancy (Dixon) Phillips. He was a member of Loves Creek Baptist Church, a graduate of Jordan Matthews High School and had been employed as a meat cutter. Lynn was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed shooting and fishing but his greatest pleasure was time spent with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by three daughters: Kristy Phillips Christie and husband, Steve of Goosecreek, SC, Alex Phillips Roe and husband, Jon of King, NC, Tresalynn Phillips Crider and husband, Dustin of Englewood, OH; one son: Eric Phillips and wife, Heather of Manahawkin, NJ; mother, Nancy (Dixon) Phillips; one brother: Jarrett Phillips and wife, Lorelei of Asheboro, NC; grandchildren, Shylynn Roe and Ryker Phillips; special nephew, Trever Phillips.
The family will receive friends Friday, August 21, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City, NC. A memorial service will be Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 3:00 at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bob Boyd officiating.
