 A life well lived.

After a long life as a horseman, golfer, skier, runner, and for the last 20 something years an inspired artist, Roger passed away peacefully on July 3 at his residence in Siler City, NC.

.Originally from California, his career in engineering served him well as he contributed to many major construction projects throughout the country. Roger and his wife Linda moved from Wisconsin to Siler City in 2004. Here he refocused his energy and proceeded to make his mark on the town. He was an art advocate and driving force that attracted, encouraged and inspired artists to be bold and work fearlessly.

 Everyone has a story to tell. Roger’s artwork speaks for him. An exhibition of this prolific man’s work “Person 2 Person” and a celebration of Roger’s life is planned from 2-6:00 on Sunday, August 11, 2024, at the PAF Gallery, 223 N. Chatham Ave. Siler City. 

Roger was a self-proclaimed “child of the universe, a citizen of the world” and a foster family for stray pets without a home. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to donate to any animal care organization that touches your heart.
