Robert Henry McDaniel

Robert Henry McDaniel, 80, of Siler City passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at his home in Siler City. Mr. McDaniel was born June 7, 1940, a native of Chatham County and the son of Walter and Era Fox McDaniel. Robert was a member of the Siler City Pentecostal Holiness Church. He retired from Boling Chair Company where he was an assembler, working afterwards at American Service Center. Robert was a people person and would talk to anyone who would listen. He loved watching baseball. Anything that had to do with being outside Robert enjoyed, including sitting on his porch or working in the yard. In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by his wife; Rosa May Frazier McDaniel, son; Robert McDaniel, Jr., daughter; Peggy M. Stinson, brothers; Raymond McDaniel and Harold McDaniel, and sister; Lessie M. Dowd. He is survived by his sons; Johnny Ray McDaniel of Liberty, and Michael Henry McDaniel of Liberty, sisters; Nancy M. Meekins of Asheboro, and Rachel M. Marley of Kernersville, brother; William T. McDaniel of Siler City, 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Siler City Pentecostal Holiness Church, 17475 US 64 W, Siler City, NC 27344.
