Robert Joe Debord

Robert Joe DeBord, age 78, of Siler City died Saturday, July 11, 2020. Mr. DeBord was born November 27, 1941 in Richmond, VA the son of Walter Glen and Mary Evelyn Parks DeBord, who preceded him in death. His sisters: Jessi DeBord McGloflin, Wilma DeBord Bowman and Jannett DeBord Fagg also preceded him in death. Robert was retired from March Furniture, a member of Brookdale Baptist Church, and a hunting club. He was an avid NASCAR fan and a enjoyed watching football. He is survived by his wife: Shirley Hayes DeBord; daughter: Frances Diann Linebaugh; brother: William Sterling DeBord; grandsons: Gerald Keith Newcomb Jr. and Anthony Joseph Linebaugh. A graveside service will be Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Pleasant Grove Christian Church Cemetery, 5946 Pleaseant Grove Church Road, Bennett.
