Robert Bryce "Bobby" Holt

Robert "Bobby" Bryce Holt, 68, of, Siler City died Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at Coventry House Of Siler City. Mr. Holt was born in Chatham County on August 19, 1947 the son of C. Bryce and Dorothy (Bowers) Holt. Bobby was a member of Rives Chapel Baptist Church, a 1965 graduate of Jordan Matthews High School, a veteran of the US Air Force and a member of the D. A. V. in Salisbury. He had been a warehouse worker for Hart Furniture. Bobby was a NASCAR fan and loved spending time with his dogs, Sparkle and Dixie. He was preceded in death by his mother and a sister, Brenda H. Oldham. He is survived by his father, C. Bryce Holt; one brother: Michael Holt and wife, Gwen all of Siler City, NC. The family will receive friends Thursday, October 1, 2015 from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at Rives Chapel Baptist Church, 4338 Rives Chapel Church Road, Siler City, NC and other times at the home of Bryce Holt. The funeral will be Thursday at 3:00 PM at Rives Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Tripp Foltz officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
