Rebecca Crissman Wilkie

Rebecca "Beckie" Crissman Wilkie, age 85, of Goldston died Saturday, September 5, 2020. Mrs. Wilkie was born June 17, 1935 the daughter of Sandy Virgil and Martha Shore Crissman. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; John Raymond Wilkie, and daughter; Tammie Lynn Wilkie. Mrs. Wilkie loved singing in the choir, was a member of Encourager Sunday school class and really enjoyed Becky Gunter's lessons. She also enjoyed the ladies' luncheon each spring at church. UNC Tarheels and the Dallas Cowboys were her favorite ball teams. She loved chicken farming and riding on her zero turn to mow her yard. Beckie loved spending time with her nieces and nephews. She also loved family reunions where she was able to visit relatives she didn't get to see very often. Mrs. Wilkie is survived by daughter; Ann Wilkie of Goldston, sisters; Iris Pendergrass of Raleigh, and Barbara Kinton of Kernersville, and brothers; Gaither Crissman of White Oak, and Lynn Crissman and wife Phyllis of Bear Creek. The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 9, 2020 from 1:00-3:00 pm at Antioch Baptist Church, 3825 Bonlee-Carbonton Road, Goldston. The funeral service will be at 3:00 pm with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Family requests that all attendees wear a mask and practice social distancing. The funeral will be live streamed on Antioch Baptist Church Goldston Facebook page. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or a Hospice facility of your choice. Smith and Buckner is assisting the Wilkie family.
