Phillip Leroy Hill

Phillip Leroy Hill, 71, of 4844 Silk Hope-Liberty Road, Siler City died Friday, May 4, 2012 at his home. Mr. Hill was born July 24, 1940 the son of Coy and Clara Lee Stout Hill Sheperd. Phil was a born in Chatham County and was retired from Ramtex after 32 years of service. He was a member of Community Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Shirley O'Connor Hill. He loved hunting, fishing and farming. He is survived by one daughter: Sherri Hill Ferguson and husband, Sean of Big Spring, TX; grandsons, Joseph Foushee and fiancée, Tiffany of Siler City, NC; Ralph Lineberry, II of Staley, NC; one brother: Jerry Reid Hill and caregiver, Susan Anderson. A memorial graveside service will be held Friday, May 11, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Hickory Mountain United Methodist Church Cemetery, 201Hadley Mill Road, Pittsboro, NC with Rev. Bob Wachs officiating.
