Peggy Ruth Lewis Lindley

Peggy Ruth Lewis Lindley, 95, of Snow Camp, went home to be with the Lord Friday, January 17th, 2025, at home surrounded by family.

Peggy was born in Alamance County on November 20th, 1929, to the late James M. and Margaret T. Lewis. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Franklin A. Lindley; her son, Samuel Lindley; her siblings, Helen Pendergrass and her husband, Raymond, and William Lewis and his wife, Faye.

Peggy enjoyed working in the flowers for the church and at home. She loved being outside working in the yard. Peggy loved spending time with her family and making lifelong memories. She was a homemaker and loved taking care of her family. Peggy was a member of South Fork Friends Meeting. She shared her life with her husband, Frank Lindley until his passing in 2004.

Left to cherish her memory, Peggy leaves two daughters, Janice Lindley, and Ann Campbell and her husband, James; her grandchildren, Casey Campbell, Christopher Campbell, Samantha Goetz and husband, Jake, Amanda Parks and husband, Jerry, J.B. Lindley, and Ricky Lindley; and a great grandson, Xander Goetz; her siblings, Carolyn Everett and James Lewis and his wife, Billie; and her former daughter-in-law, Alicia Adkins and her husband, Phillip, as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family would life to thank Liberty Hospice for the care they showed Peggy in her final days.

Graveside service will be held Sunday, January 19th, 2025, at 2 pm, at South Fork Friends Meeting Church. Services will be officiated by Daniel Thames and Andrew Needham.

Smith & Buckner Funeral Home will be assisting the Lindley family.
