Peggy Jean Nall Foushee, 73, of Pittsboro-Goldston Road, Bear Creek died Monday, February 8, 2016 at Siler City Center following several months of declining health.
Mrs. Foushee was born in Moore County on November 29, 1942 the daughter of William G. and Mary Lee (Malone) Nall. She was retired from Kayser-Roth and a lifetime member of Horseshoe Presbyterian Church. She had served as Clerk and treasurer for 30 years and taught Children's Sunday School Class and was a member of the Adult Sunday School Class. Peggy enjoyed cooking, making wedding cakes, working in her flower and vegetable gardens and time spent with her family and at church.
She was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Randy Nall.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years: William "Buddy' T. Foushee of Bear Creek; son: Jesse Thomas Foushee and wife, Tonya of Stoneville; grandson, Joseph Lynn Foushee and wife, Tiffany of Siler City; mother, Mary Lee Malone Nall of Siler City; sister, Brenda Lee Thompson of Sanford; brother: William " Bill" James Nall of Sanford.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 10, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City and other times at the home of her brother, 6942 NC Hwy 42 Carbonton Road, Sanford. The funeral will be Thursday, February 11, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Horseshoe Presbyterian Church, 1540 S. Carbonton Road, Sanford with Rev. Tom Currie and Rev. Clark Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
