Peggy Elizabeth Jones

Peggy Elizabeth Jones, 78, of West Third Street, Siler City died Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at her residence. Ms. Jones was born in Chatham County on May 10, 1935 the daughter of Herbert R. and Irene (Wilson) Jones. She was a member of Loves Creek Baptist Church and the Women's # 1 Sunday School class. She enjoyed watching television, working cross word puzzles and word search. She loved her cats. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Louise Dorsett, Margaret Pike, Hazel Hough, Beatrice Burgess, Doris Gasque, Ruth Wilson; brother, Herbert Jones, Jr. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Loves Creek Baptist Church, 1745 East 11th Street, Siler City with Rev. Alan Harrison officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
