Paul Dwight Johnson

Paul D. Johnson, 72, of Burlington went home to be with the Lord Thursday, December 3, 2015. Mr. Johnson was born in Chatham County on January 29, 1943, the son or Eulas M. and Lillie Elmore Johnson. Paul was a sales representative for Sears with 21 years of service. He attended Harvest Hills Church of God in Burlington. Paul was preceded in death by his parents; son, David P. Johnson; sisters, Magdalene Gaines, Ruby Abee; brothers, Rexford, Herman and Herbert Johnson. He is survived by a son, Mark Johnson of Gibsonville; daughters, Lisa Ainsworth of Asheboro, Kay Babel (Chris) of Mebane and Angela Johnson of Burlington; brother, Roland (Bunny) Johnson of Miller Creek; sisters, Margaret Hough, June Carol Easter (Larry) both of Siler City and Doris Tallent (Rev. Marshall) of Yadkinville; grandchildren, Danielle Johnson, Michael Johnson, Matthew Johnson all of Graham, April Rutherford (Caleb) and Andrew Ainsworth both of Asheboro. The family will receive friends Sunday, December 6, 2015 from 2:00 – 3:00 PM in the Smith & Buckner Funeral Home Chapel, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City. The funeral will be Sunday, December 6, 2015 at 3:00 PM in the Smith & Buckner Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Siler City.
