Patsy Sue Brewer Bray

Patsy Sue Brewer Bray, 68, of Calvin Phillips Road, Bennett died Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at Chatham Hospital. Mrs. Bray was born in Chatham County on October 22, 1948 the daughter of Earl Lee and Beatrice (Wilson) Brewer. Patsy was a member of Fall Creek Baptist Church, employed as a caregiver. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and loved her dogs Precious, Toby, Miracle and Sassy. Patsy was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband: Greg G. Bray of Bennett; one daughter: Donna Brafford Mabry and husband, Wayne of Bear Creek; one sister: Carol Phillips-Wilson and husband, Billy of Bennett; two brothers: Sammy Brewer and wife, Cathy of Bear Creek and Alan Brewer and wife, Beckie of Bennett; grandchildren, Casey Foushee and wife, Holly, Nicholas Keifer and wife, Hannah and Nicole Mabry (Ryan). The family will receive friends Friday, December 9, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City, NC and other times at the home of Donna Mabry, 14054 NC Hwy 902. The funeral will be Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Sandy Branch Baptist Church, 715 Sandy Branch Church Road, Bear Creek with Rev. Marc Sanders officiating. Burial will follow in Fall Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Bennett.
