Nolie Carolyn Ferrell, 73, of, Siler City died Monday, June 6, 2016 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro.
Mrs. Ferrell was born in Chatham County on October 17, 1942 the daughter of Clem B. and Pauline Goodwin Ferrell. She was last employed in a temporary work agency but had previously worked with WRAL-TV, secretary to Jesse Helms in Washington, the Department of Energy, secretary to the Ambasador to Barbados and an administrative assistant with Johnson & Johnson. She attended Meredith College, loved to travel and share stories of her travels, working in her yard.
She is survived by her husband of 13 years: David R. Siler of Siler City; cousins, Marie D'Ambrosi and Betty Goodwin.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 16, 2016 a 2:00 PM at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home Chapel, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City with Randolph Hospice Chaplain Joey Miller officiating.
