Nelson Blue Haire, Sr.

Nelson Blue Haire, Sr., 64, of Siler City died Tuesday, March 13, 2018.

Mr. Haire, Sr. was born in Lee County on July 18, 1953 the son of Clifton and Gladys P. (Lawson) Haire. He was employed by GKN as a Machinist.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Pamela Leavy Haire; infant daughter, Amanda Elizabeth Haire; his parents and a brother, Roy Haire.

He is survived by one daughter: Melissa A. Haire of Bradenton, FL; two sons: Nelson B. Haire, Jr. of Siler City and John C. Haire of Ramseur; three sisters: Patricia Haire of High Point, Brenda Haire of Sanford and Irene Thomas of Sanford; two brothers: Marshall Haire of Sanford and Milton Haire of Washington; grandchildren, Jacob and Ashlyn

The family will receive friends Saturday, March 17, 2018 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City A graveside service will be Saturday at 2:00 at Chatham Memorial Park with Rev. Walter Jones officiating.
