Nellie Gray McMahon

Nellie Gray Scotten McMahon, 84, of Siler City died peacefully in her sleep Friday, June 13, 2014 at Siler City Center. Mrs. McMahon was born in Glendon, NC on December 21, 1929. Nellie was the daughter of Clester Ralston and Lora (Davis) Scotten and the youngest of eight. She was married and lived in Siler City for the last 61 years. She had been employed as a telephone operator before staying at home once her son was born. She is survived by her husband: James P. McMahon; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Sally McMahon of Virginia Beach, VA; grandchildren, Sarah Gray and Samuel Aidan McMahon, and many loving nieces. A graveside service was held 4:00 PM Saturday, June 14, 2014 at Loves Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
