Nathel Jourdan Clark, 86, of Reno Sharpe Store Road, Bear Creek died Wednesday, November 4, 2015, at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro. Mrs. Clark was born in Chatham County on July 9, 1929, the daughter of George S. and Sankie Oldham Jourdan. Nathel was a member of Antioch Christian Church, and loved crocheting, cake decorating, flowers arranging, find a word puzzle and going to the beach. She was retired from Kayser-Roth Corp. as an Inspector after 48 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband. Everette M. Clark: two sisters; Mary Ruth Johnson and Ollie Sharpe; brothers, William (Buddy) Jourdan and George C. Jourdan. She is survived by one daughter: Carolyn C. Teague and husband, Reid of Goldston, NC; two sons: David E. Clark and wife, Deborah of Goldston, NC, Ronald M. Clark and wife, Dawn of Sanford, NC; one brother: Albert F. Jourdan of Bear Creek, NC; six grandchildren, three Step-grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, five step-grandchildren and seven great-great –grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday, November 6, 2015 from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at Antioch Christian Church, 246 Antioch Christian Church Road, Bear Creek, NC. A graveside service will follow at 3:00 PM with Rev. Clark Davis and Rev. Mike Harper officiating. Smith & Buckner Funeral Home is assisting the Clark Family.
