Nancy Stoutenburg Cox

Nancy Elaine Stoutenburg Cox, 60, of Staley died Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, Greensboro. Mrs. Cox was born February 23, 1954 in Buffalo, New York the daughter of Peter and Georgia (Gavner) Stoutenburg. She was employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse and will be remembered for her loving, caring spirit. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Linda Kraft; brother, Peter Stoutenburg. She is survived by one son: Kyle Rankin; sisters: Georgia L. Rogers, Shirley A. Mitchell; brothers: Paul D. Stoutenburg, John E. Stoutenburg, James V. Stoutenburg;goddaughter, Mary E. Johnson and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Sunday, July 20, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City, NC.
