Muriel Ehrle Carlson

Muriel Ehrle Williams Carlson, 87, of 2378 Alex Cockman Road, Pittsboro died Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at her residence. Mrs. Carlson was born August 16, 1924 in Manhattan, New York the daughter of Harvey B. and Pauline Ehrle Williams. Mrs. Carlson was a homemaker, the foundation of her family, a loving mother who enjoyed spending time with them. Muriel was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Carlson and a daughter, Arlene A. McKillop. She is survived by one son: Leif Carlson and wife, Ronda of Pittsboro, NC; daughter, Elaine J. and husband, Marty Henle of Pittsboro, NC; grandchildren, Rachael M., Kyle L., Eric M. Carlson, John R. Henle, Cara Arlene McKillop Cain, Nicholas Sean, Katherine Maria McKillop and nine great-grandchildren. Smith & Buckner Funeral Home is assisting the family.
