Monica Deese Watts, 47, of 6225 Burgess Farm Drive, Ramseur died Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at her residence.
Mrs. Watts was born in Chatham County on June 18, 1968 the daughter of Ronnie and Shirley (Moore) Deese. Monica was a cosmetologist, working at A Cut Above in Asheboro, a member of Brookdale Baptist Church and attended Community Baptist Church. She loved her boys and had a zest for life that she passed on. She could often be found helping her family and others cope with the challenges they faced in day- to- day life.
Monica was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Moore Deese.
She is survived by her husband: Keith Watts; sons, Zachary Watts and Matthew Watts all of Ramseur; father, Ronnie and Helena Deese of Asheboro; two sisters: Sonya D. Hall and husband, John of Leesburg, VA, Stacey D. Cook and husband, Stephen of Siler City.
The family will receive friends Friday, April 29, 2016 from 6:30-8:30 PM at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City, NC. The funeral will be Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Community Baptist Church, 2575 Hamp Stone Road, Siler City with Rev. Mark Agan officiating.
