Mollie Delina Woody

Mollie Delina Woody, 84, of Goldston passed away on Monday, December 21, 2020 at UNC Hospice, Pittsboro. Mrs. Woody was born December 21, 1936, a native of Chatham County and the daughter of Archie and Ethel Hilliard Wilkie. Mollie loved to spend time in her garden and she was always cooking something good to eat in the kitchen. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mollie is preceded in death by her sisters; Elma Hatch, Emma Brewer, and Mae Gaines, and brothers; Robert, Frank and Rubert Wilkie. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Donald Woody and son; Donnie Woody and wife Stacy of Siler City, sisters; Frona Eads of Siler City, and Linda Wicker of Goldston, and grandchildren, Annastasia, Jackson and Elliott Woody. The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 23, 2020 from 1:00-2:00 PM at Antioch Baptist Church, 3825 Bonlee-Carbonton Road, Goldston, NC and other times at the home of Donnie and Stacy Woody, 2705 Siler City Snow Camp Rd., Siler City, NC. The funeral service will be on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 2:00 at Antioch Baptist Church, 3825 Bonlee-Carbonton Road, Goldston with Rev. Mike Garner officiating.
