Michael Shannon Ferguson, 40, of Siler City died Monday, May 18, 2015.
Mr. Ferguson was born in Chatham County on October 4, 1974 the son of David R. and Mary Ann (Moore) Ferguson. Shannon was a 1992 graduate of Jordan Matthews High School. He was employed and part owner of the family business, Ferguson Welding. He was a member of Staley Baptist Church and was a member of the Siler City Moose Lodge, NRA, and Turkey Federation. Shannon loved his family, fishing, four-wheeling, and spending time with his friends.
He is survived by his wife, Pam; children, Autumn and Stephanie, Jared and wife, Stephanie and Josh; his parents, David R. and Mary Ann (Moore) Ferguson; brother: Shane Ferguson and wife, Sandy; grandsons, Presten and Brayden; nieces, Ashley, Taylor and Bristol.
A memorial service will be Thursday, May 21, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Staley Baptist Church, 440 W. Railroad St., Staley with Rev. Clifford Williams and Rev. Bob Swicegood officiating.
