Melrose "Bo" Binkley Fields

Melrose "Bo" Binkley Fields, 83, of Vander Oldham Road, Bear Creek died Sunday, May 24, 2015 at her residence. Mrs. Fields was born in Forsyth County on September 20, 1931 the daughter of Claude and Rosa (Harrison) Binkley. She was retired from A J Schneierson as a sewer. Melrose was a member of Bear Creek Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School, was a member of the choir and the social committee. She was preceded in death by daughter, Pat Hart and her parents. She is survived by her husband of 67 years: Arthur Fields; two daughters: Beverly Scott and husband, Myron of Bear Creek, NC, Linda Davis of Bear Creek, NC; grandchildren, Christy Harris and husband, Rodney of Bear Creek, NC, Tracy Cox and wife, Crystal of Bear Creek, NC; Gina Lindley and husband, Jamie of Silk Hope, Brad Moody and wife, Jennifer of Bennett, NC, Ricky Moody of Bear Creek, NC, Branson Scott of Bear Creek, NC; great-grandchildren, John Mark Beal, Jaycee Dooley, Preston Cox, Tanner Dooley and Maisy Moody. The family will receive friends Wednesday May 27, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City, NC. The funeral will be Thursday, May 28, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Bear Creek Baptist Church, 1269 Bonlee-Carbonton Rd., Bear Creek with Rev. Bob Wachs, Rev. David Hicks, Rev. Phillip Nelson and Rev.
