Mary Lee Elizabeth Ellis

Mary Lee Ellis, 86, of Goldston died Saturday, October 5, 2013 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro. Mrs. Ellis was born June 10, 1927 the daughter of Murd and Lula Hart Klass. Mrs. Ellis was a native of Chatham County. Mary Lee worked at Chatham Hospital and later cared for children at her home. Mary Lee was a member of Goldston United Methodist Church for 76 years. She loved to sew and her flowers. Mary Lee is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Ellis and grandson, Jason Clark. . She is survived by daughters: Joyce E. Clark and husband, Melvin of Siler City, Verna Ellis of Goldston, son: Jimmy Ellis, grandchildren, Alan Clark and wife, Phyllis, Larry Clark, Kevin Ellis, Krista Ritter and husband, John and Michael J. Pister, Jr., great grandchildren, Amy Clark, J. C. Ritter, Cody Ritter and Casey Duckworth, great-great grandchild, Jace Duckworth and her beloved pet Katie. The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 9, 2013 from 2 to 3 PM at the Goldston United Methodist Church, with the graveside service following in the Goldston Cemetery, with Rev.
