Mary Belle Myers Jordan

Mary Belle Myers Jordan, 75, of Sanford died Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at her residence. Mrs. Jordan was born in Davidson County on March 1, 1938 the daughter of Clayton and Ruth (Boggs) Myers. She had been employed by the PTA Thrift Shop in Siler City as manager. Mary was a member of Oakley Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, camping and singing. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Jordan; her parents; a brother Clay Myers and a great-grandson, Bently Creason. She is survived by two daughters: Debra Vandervort and husband, Richard of Youngsville, NC, Gloria Clare of Goldston, NC; two sons: Roger Causey of Winston- Salem, NC, Tony Causey and wife, Denise of Sanford, NC; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Sunday, September 15, 2013 from 3:00 - 4:00 PM at Oakley Baptist Church, 2300 Siler City-Glendon Road, Siler City, NC. The funeral will be Sunday at 4:00 PM at Oakley Baptist Church with Rev. Heath Faircloth and Rev. Eddie Ellison officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
