Lucy Bernice Johnson

Lucy Bernice Johnson, 85, of 900 West Dolphin Street, Siler City died Monday, July 9, 2012 at Siler City Care & Rehabilitation. Ms. Johnson was born in Chatham County on September 18, 1926 the daughter of Thomas Oren and Corrina (Williams) Johnson. She was a member of Hope United Methodist Church and attended Cummnock United Methodist Church and had worked at A. J. Scneierson & Sons as a sewer. Bernice was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Wilson Johnson and a sister, Margaret Pauline Cole. She is survived by a niece, Patricia D. Phillips and husband, Ron of Sanford, NC ;a nephew, Lewis Johnson and wife, Nancy of Siler City, NC and several grand nieces and nephews. A private service will be held.
