Lloyd Earl Millikan, 79, of, Siler City died Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at UNC Hospice, Pittsboro.
Mr. Millikan was born in Randolph County on August 13, 1938 the son of Benjamin Otis and Edna Mae (Cole) Millikan. Lloyd served in the National Guard for 29 years and worked in construction as a superintendent. He was a member of the Chatham Optimist Club and the Jordan Matthews Booster Club. Lloyd enjoyed reading, fishing, wood working and watching football, especially the JM Jets.Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, John Curtis Millikan.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years: Dolores (DiMeo) Millikan; one daughter: Nena M. Burchfield of Siler City; two sons: Lloyd Millikan, Jr. of Snow Camp and Nicholas Millikan of Blanche; one sister: Martha M. McDaniel of Greenville, SC; grandchildren, Ryan and Aaron.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
