Linda Sue Roberson

Linda Sue Roberson, 70, of Pittsboro, passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2022.

Ms. Roberson was born in Chatham County on July 17, 1951, the daughter of Everette Pete and Louise Owens Roberson.

Linda retired from Allied Fibers, later working for the PTA Thrift Store in Pittsboro. She loved watching UNC Basketball, while enjoying a Diet Coke and Little Debbie Cake. Linda cherished her daughter, grandchildren and great grand babies. She always had dogs and cats around which she adored. Linda is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her daughter, Casey Pickard of Goldston; brother, James E. Roberson and wife Vicki of Pittsboro, and David Roberson and wife Janie of New Hill; grandchildren, Nickie Fox (Timmy), Lee McGehee (Mariah); great grandchildren, Jacob Partin, Ashlynne Fox, MaKenna McGehee, Dante Walsh, Doodle Fox and Addison Fox; and 2 special nieces, Gina Goins (Randy) and Tonya Owens (William).

The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Coventry House, Siler City for the care of Linda for the last 3 1/2 years, as well as Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Smith & Buckner Funeral Home to help with final expenses.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
