Linda Willett Martin

Linda Willett Martin, 73, of Waynesville passed away on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at her home in Waynesville. Mrs. Martin was born in Chatham County on January 18, 1948 the daughter of Donald Kelsey and Sally Seawell Willett. Linda was a member of Sandy Branch Church. She loved to spend time gambling at the Cherokee Casino. She spent her free time gardening and playing bingo. Linda loved to have a good time and having family get togethers. She enjoyed spending her free time going up to see the elks in the mountains, riding and dancing. Linda is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of over 30 years, Donald Lee Martin. The family will receive friends Friday, July 9, 2021 from 12:00-1:45 pm at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow on Friday, July 9, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Sandy Branch Baptist Church Cemetery, 715 Sandy Branch Church Road, Bear Creek, NC with Rev. Jimmy Brown officiating.
