Lillian Haithcox Staley

Lillian Haithcox Staley, 82, died Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at Siler City Center. Mrs. Staley was born in Randolph County on January 23, 1934 the daughter of Lacy Franklin and Louella (Staley) Haithcox. She had been employed by Ramtex as a fixer in the spinning department. Lillian enjoyed the out of doors, working in her flowers and going to flea markets. Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Staley; sons, Dale Wayne Staley and Larry Franklin Staley; sister, Helen H. Whitt; brothers, Floyd Haithcox, Lacy Haithcox, Franklin Haithcox and Bascom Haithcox. She is survived by daughter: Tammy L Staley of Siler City; grandchildren Erica Michelle Staley and Julie Staley; brother, Roscoe Thomas Poe and wife, Juanita of Liberty. The family will receive friends Friday, July 1, 2016 from 6:30-8:00 PM at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City. Burial will be in Gilmore Memorial Park at a later date.
