Leroy White

Leroy White, 77, of Airport Road, Siler City died Tuesday, May 9, 2017.

Mr. White was born in Chatham County on July 17, 1939, the son of Charles Newton and Hazel Rosette (Brewer) White. Leroy had worked for Boling Chair Company and enjoyed farming. He was a member of Calvary Holiness Church in Liberty. Leroy was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Brown White and his parents. He is survived by one sister: Rachel Wright and husband, Raeford of Seagrove; niece, Cathy Goodman and husband, Mike of Biscoe; nephews, Craig Wright, Kevin Wright and wife, Missy of Seagrove; one great-nephew; two great-nieces.

The family will receive friends Friday, May 12, 2017 from 2:00-3:00 pm at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City. The funeral will be Friday at 3:00 PM in the Smith & Buckner Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Mark Hurt officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Christian Church Cemetery, Bennett.
